A barn is an agriculture building. Barns are used for various purposes. A barn refers to structures that house livestock, including horses and cattle, as well as fodder and equipment, and often grain. The term barn is qualified e. g. tobacco barn, potato barn, sheep barn and dairy barn. In the British Isles, barn the term is restricted to storage structures for unthreshed cereal and fodder.
